The Lekki and Admiralty toll plazas will tomorrow be opened free for motorists between 6:30am and 8:30am, and 4:30pm and 8pm.
According to Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the free toll is to ascertain how effective the state government can tackle the gridlock on the Lekki-Ajah express way, and the Lekki-Ikoyi road.
While on inspection tour of the Lekki-Ajah road and the Ikoyi axis on Wednesday, as part of efforts to solve the traffic on the axis, the governor said his administration is working round the clock to reduce traffic congestion in the state.

The governor added the Ikoyi link bridge toll will go electronical as from early October, adding the measure would help to eliminate human and cash transaction, and reduce traffic.
Earlier, while meeting with stakeholders, the governor said more roads will be constructed on the axis while the damaged ones will be repaired. He also hinted on reducing the number of roundabouts within the state ti make room for more space on the roads.
