The Rukpoku area of Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, has erupted in root following the killing of a tricycle (Keke) driver by a yet-to-be identified policeman over a mere N100 bribe.
The police allegedly killed the victim for refusing to give him N100 bribe.
The incident occurred about 7 am on Airport road, making angry youths and other Keke drivers to troop onto the major road to protest the killing if their member.
The protesters made bonfires on the road, resulting in blockade and gridlock on airport road
