Rep urges Benue youths to form volunteer groups to tackle Coronvirus

A member of the House of Representatives from Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo constituency, Dr.  Francis Ottah Agbo, has called on youths in Benue State to Join the campaign against the spread of the Coronavirus by forming volunteer  groups.

Hon. Agbo, in a statement he personally  issued, in Makurdi, the state capital,  said such volunteer  groups  would go a long way in complementing government efforts  towards  curbing the spread  of the disease  in the state.

According  to him, the call became imperative  owing to the fact that the pandemic  was getting to community  level.

Hon. Agbo who also join the call for the closure of all entry points  into the state urged youths  at border points to be vigilant so to prevent the movement of people  from high risk areas into the state.

Recall that the federal lawmaker had donated safety  materials  and some  palliatives to his constituents to cushion  the hardship created  by the dreaded disease.
