Primate Ayodele warns Liberian President George Weah: If Boakia wins, he’ll jail you
Primate Elijah Ayodele, Nigeria’s popular seer has warned the President of Liberia, George Weah to strive to win the November 14, 2023, presidential run-off election between him and the opposition candidate, Joseph Boakai or risk going to jail.
The cleric issued the warning to Weah on Sunday in a statement signed by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, stressing that Boakai had plans to jail President Weah if he won the election.
Ayodele said: “If Boakai wins the election, he will jail George Weah and his party will not exist again.
“His party will rule for many years if George Weah fails to wake up.
“He must do all he can to ensure he wins because his future depends on this election.
“If he doesn’t listen to these warnings, he will experience pains in the election.
“He must go all out in the election.
“He should seek the face of God and do all is needed, he should use his last strength to see he gets the seat back”.
The cleric prophesied further that Boakai’s rulership would not be good for Liberia as it would lead to oppression, economic troubles and crisis.
“Weah is the right and best person to win if he seeks the face of God and focuses on the needful”, Ayodele stressed.
“George Weah must not relent; he should not feel it is all over.
“If he loses the election, he will become irrelevant politically.
“God has given him all it will take to continue his tenure but he must be careful not to take a wrong step.
“The opposition isn’t sleeping, they will do everything possible to cause upset for George Weah’s victory.
“He must strategize and do all that is needful to make sure he doesn’t hand over to the wrong person.
“The opposition is a wrong option because there will be oppression, economic troubles, crisis”.
