He tweets,” Officer detained and awaiting trial. Spoken with the parties involved and the officer in charge. Great synergy and thanks for reaching out, pls.

Ruggedman had earlier tweeted, “HAPPENING RIGHT NOW!@PoliceNG @PoliceNG_CRU look at your officer M. Aliu hitting an innocent ports worker at Area M command, Idimu. His offence? Picking his friend who works in a MEDICAL EQUIPMENT COMPANY, both exempted from lockdown n she has a PASS. CC @AcpIshaku
“You should get this officer to publicly apologise to that young man. Let us start the #PoliceisYourFriendChallenge from this. Put out an apology video of any officer caught.

Ruggedman was able to call the attention of the police force and the ACP by tagging them in viral video which yielded positive result.
The detained officer identified as M. Aliu severally hit the NPA staff for allegedly defying the restriction order by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Aliu was seen in the video hitting the NPA staff severely on his head while trying to picking his friend, a staff of medical outfit to work.
All efforts by the victim and his friend to explain to Aliu that the President exempted health and port workers from the lockdown fell on deaf ears.

It was gathered that rather than listen to their explanations, Aliu continued to assault the duo especially the NPA staff.
He is currently facing the consequence of his actions and insensitivity.
