Police officers withdraw N400,000 from Uber driver’s account through POS

Officers of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS), in Abuja, have been accused of allegedly withdrawing N 400,000 from an Uber driver, Ani Emeka Victor.

It was gathered that the driver was arrested on Monday, January 20, 2020, along Area 3, in front of First Bank, Abuja, by six SARS officers.

According to Mr. Harrison Emefiena, he said the officers allegedly threatened to kill the driver and forced him to use a POS provided by them and N400,000 was withdrawn from his account through the POS attached to Freedom Network Agency.
