Pogba not for sale at any fee, Man United insist

Manchester United are not ready to offload Paul Pogba at any fee, remaining resolute the star midfielder is going nowhere.

Pogba recently flirted with media reports linking him with a summer deal with Real Madrid.

The Frenchman admitted a move to the La Liga giants is a ‘dream for anyone,’ throwing his future at Old Trafford under sharp speculation.

“Like I’ve always said, Real Madrid is a dream for anyone, it’s one of the biggest clubs in the world,” he was quoted saying.

“There is also Zidane as a coach and it’s a dream for anybody who likes football. For now, I’m at Manchester,” he added.

However, according to a talkSPORT report citing the Evening Standard, the United board is reluctant to letting one of their asset player leave.

It is understood that interim boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, views the former Juventus player as an integral member of the Red Devils’ squad.

Solskjaer, who is expected to be handed the United job on a permanent capacity further believes Pogba can play a part in his plans at the club.

The 26-year-old still has two years left on his current deal at Old Trafford, with an option of having it extended for another year.

He was on the verge of leaving the Premier League side last summer, but the Manchester outfit managed to fend off advances from various suitors including Barcelona.

He is enjoying a fine run under Solskjaer, after enduring a difficult period under former boss, Jose Mourinho.

He has notched 11 goals and bagged nine assists in 27 Premier League appearances this season.
