PDP wobbles as 7 NWC members quit

Anthony Iwuoma
The major opposition party, People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has lost seven members of the party’s National Working Committee, NWC, due to what is referred to as  “an unpleasant working environment”.
The party’s National Organising Secretary, Col. Austin Akobundu (retd), who confirmed the development, added that the resignations involved deputies and not substantial heads of the departments but did not give more details.

Those who resigned include the deputy national publicity secretary, the deputy legal adviser, the deputy national auditor, the deputy national financial secretary, the deputy organising secretary and the deputy women leader.
