PDP group condoles Gov. Makinde over commissioner’s death

A political caucus within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that goes by the name Association for Ethical Awareness of Nigeria (AFEAN)-PDP, has commiserated with Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, and the entire PDP family in Oyo State on the demise of the Honorable Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Honourable  Kehinde Ayoola.

A Letter of Condolence signed by the group’s National Publicity Secretary, Omooba Obajide Ilugbo, and addressed to Governor Makinde described the sudden death of the Commissioner as painful and shocking. The statement reads thus:

 “The news of the passage of this distinguished PDP member and cabinet member of your administration came to us as a great shock particularly at this time when your administration is working hard and being praised all over the country for its pace-setting innovative leadership and policy in the combat against the Covid-19 pandemic.

“This, certainly is not a time to lose capable and competent hand such as Late Honourable Kehinde Ayoola to the cold grip of death. We deeply share your grief and pain on this irreparable loss.

 “We therefore pray that the Almighty God console you, the members of your cabinet, the family of the deceased and the good people of Oyo State over this sad occurrence.

 “May the soul of the dearly departed, rest in perfect peace. Please accept our deepest condolences.”
