Tension in some part of Asaba the Delta State capital was yesterday paralysised as traders lock their shops and parents where seen going to pick their children in schools, following the order by the proscribed Indigenous People’s of Biafra (IPOB) to residents Much seat at home.
Shops in Ogbogonogo market in Asaba was not left out as traders were seen at the early hours of the day closing their shops in compliance with the order.

The Nigeria Xpress, observed that most of the shops were not open for business, until 12 noon when traders were seen milling round their observing the situation to be they were not catch up with the Hoodlums unexpectedly.
Some of them said they were apprehensive following the threat handed down by IPOB that the seat at home should extend to Asaba, the State capital.
Its was also gathered that, some schools at the capital territory, including Okwe, Oko, Akwuebulu, Cable Point, Bonsaac, Oduke areas of Asaba were shutdown.
It was fathered gathered that unknown gunmen were shooting sporadically at Bonsaac area while parents were falling on themselves running to collect their children from schools to avoid being cut in the web.

It was learned that one person was killed at the process thereby creating apprehension in the state.
When Contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe said that the command has drafted personnel to all nook and cranny of State to provide security to the people.
He said that he was not aware of any gunshots but there was there was shooting of knockouts in some areas.
He advised the residents to go about there normal business and disregard the sit-at-home order by the proscribed IPOB, saying the police are in total control of the situation.
