Over 100 million people watch Squid Game making it Netflix’s biggest series
The hugely popular series Squid Game has officially become Netflix’s biggest title ever at launch.
In a span of just 25 days, the hyper-violent Korean series has been watched by 111 million members worldwide, the streaming platform said, the BBC reports.
This puts it ahead of the previous No. 1 series Bridgerton, which was watched by 82 million in the first 28 days of its release.
The data is based on the number of accounts that watched the series for at least two minutes, Netflix’s standard metric for ranking titles.
