OPINION: Ned Nwoko and his passion for community development

Godwin. Udoh

Prince Ned Nwoko! He has always been known for empathy. Tales of his  benevolence abound. Never has anyone been so patriotic, so passionate about the development of his community and Anioma at large.
It therefore becomes  laughable , when one Azuka Jebose , a long forgotten  journalist who has lost touch with reality , having diminished in reality by a waning journalism career, erroneously took to the social media to cast aspersions on  the hard earned integrity of Anioma Star Prince and Billionaire philantropist, Hon Dr Prince Ned Munur Nwoko.

Not only did the Onicha ugbo born Jebose  flounder at every point in his obviously warped hog wash  sponsored by perceived backbiters who can’t come to terms with the towering phenomenon of the Ned brand, but goofed pitiably in insinuating that the Star Prince has not done anything  in  his ancestral home  of Idumuje Ugboko, or less to  Onicha ugbo!

But the facts are incontrovertible. Where was JEBOSE, or even his paymasters, when Ned dolled out a princely #100million, to effect immediate rehabilitation, complete with dual side drains, of a hitherto death trap Onicha ugbo/ ldumuje ugboko Ewohimi road?  That is the road  leading to Abuja, the nations Federal capital territory, which heavy duty vehicles and luxurious buses  had inadvertently rendered no go area.
Where, again, where was Jebose and his unfortunate paymaster , when Ned, was approached by Onicha ugbo youths, and he committed millions of his hard earned money, to support the rehabilitation of the Onicha ugbo junction entrance at the Benin Asaba expressway  as well as the damaged junction at the Onicha ugbo / lssele uku/ ldumuje ugboko junction inside the town? Has the charlatan ever asked  the Onicha ugbo youths, how Ned always stopped by whenever to interact with the youths and further encourage them with financial assistance?. Maybe he should reach Aniocha North Council Chairman, Mr. Chuks Oseme, to enlighten him about  Ned’s love for Onicha ugbo kingdom .
It is pertinent to note  that spoilers like Jebose who may have lost touch with trends at their home town should be encouraged to see truth as it is. For Ned, he does not grandstand, His good deeds always speak for him long after his large heart has even forgotten the good deed.

Finally , this is an appeal  to all Aniomas to rally round Ned in his proactive measures to seek the common good of the people.
.The first Sports University in Sub Saharan  Africa, STARS, University Idumuje ugboko , initiated by Prince Ned Nwoko is rising on the skyline of Anioma.  His eradicate malaria project where he has committed huge sums for research on vaccine  for malaria will also benefit Onicha ugbo , the sister town of ldumuje ugboko and indeed all Nigerians.
It is time for falsehood to give way to sublime truth. Ned Nwoko loves Onicha ugbo, it’s traditional institutions and people, and will always see them as his kinsmen .
