“Only God will forgive me”: Woman confesses to mixing HIV-infected blood to Zobo drink she sells

An unidentified woman has confessed to infecting many of her customers with her HIV-infected blood through a locally prepared drink she makes for her customers.

 

The woman, who called a WazobiaFm radio station to make the confession said she took an HIV test which came back positive.

“I went to a hospital and found that I was HIV positive. I cannot die alone which is why I decided to infect as many as I can. Only God will forgive me for what I have done,” she said.

 

The woman said she had no money for treatment and hence resorted to infecting as many people as she could with the Zobo drink.

 

When asked how she is able to remove her blood, she said she uses a syringe to draw the blood from her veins before adding it to the Zobo drinks.

 

She said she has been doing it daily for the past six months.

 

“I was a nurse, that is how I learned to use needles and syringes on patients and myself,” the woman said.
