Former governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, has mocked Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State over the loss of his preferred candidate for the governorship seat of the state.
Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress (APC) had been deRwd winner of the election.
Akinlade ran under the platform of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
In a tweet on Sunday night, Fayose asked Governor Amosun to congratulate Abiodun.
He said after conspiring with the APC to take Ekiti last year, Amosun is now experiencing something similar.
Kolapo Olusola, Fayose’s candidate in the election, lost to Kayode Fayemi, the incumbent governor.
“Ibikunle Amosun, pls join us as we battle our orchestrated ‘loss’ at the tribunal. What goes round has come round. You “Ja Ekiti Gba!”, they have “Ja Ogun Gba.” Please remember to congratulate HE. Dapo Abiodun o,” he tweeted.
