Obodo laments fall of Adapalm industry in Imo

The General Manager of Adapalm Nigeria Ltd Ohaji, Imo State, Dr. Goddy Esom Obodo has expressed regret over what he described as the ‘fall of Adapalm Industry’, which is the economic hub of the state.

Obodo made the observation when he plaid host to  royal fathers of Adapalm host communities of Ohaji, Egbema and Agwa at the Senior Staff Club Adapalm.

Obodo threatened to prosecute anybody caught stealing the palm fruits of the company.

While calling on then to join hands with him in his bid to revamp the Industry, the GM said that based on the directive of the Governor, he would work to restore the lost glory of Adapalm which cannot be done without the involvement of the cotodians of culture

He expressed hope that he will not disappoint the Governor in bringing back the lost glory of the company

He also called for synergy with the royal fathers in order to reduce theft of Adapalam fruits and properties

He thanked Governor Hope Uzodinma for appointing a son of the catchment areas of Adapalm as General Manager and described him as a ‘friend’ of Ohaji.

Responding, the traditional ruler of Ohoba autonomous community, HRH Eze Philip Anyanwu, thanked Governor Uzodinma for appointing Dr. Obodo as Adalpham General Manager, describing him as a ‘round peg in a round hole’.

He, however, urged Obodo to  use his wealth of experience to rebuild Adapalm assuring that he is solidly behind him

Other traditional rulers which included HRM Eze Sylvester Okwuodu, Eze Albanus Ozuruoha, Eze Emmanuel Assor, and Hon. Stanley Nneji Unamba thanked Governor Uzodinma for Dr. Obodo’s appointment and assured of their total support.

 Eze Okwuodu advised the new administration to checkmate the activities of the present Adapalm Landlord Association which he said is made up of youths with a viewing to stopping crime in the industry.
