As the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations kicks off today, June 21, the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), has announced it will broadcast the competition live on NTA Sports 24 on free to air.
According to the television station all the AFCON matches would come live on free to air from the group stages, knock out stages and finals on NTA Sports 24, starting from June 21 to July 19.
Nigerians can enjoy the competition either on terrestrial for free or via setup boxes from any pay-tv provider they are subscribed to.
The tournament will kick-off off 9 pm Nigerian time today with host country Egypt playing against Zimbabwe at the 60,000 capacity Cairo International Stadium.
