Despite reports and videos on social media and the traditional media to the contrary, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has said that nobody died in Tuesday night’s shooting of protesters at the Lekki tollgate.
Sanwo-OIu stated this in a statewide broadcast this morning.
Curiously however, the governor ordered that flags be flown at half-mast “in solidarity” with the protesters.
He also shut down all government activities for the next three days.
