Nigeria records 226 fresh cases of COVID-19

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has recorded 226 new cases of COVID-19 in the country.

This was announced by the health agency in a tweet on Tuesday night.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 6,401.

It was tweeted that 15 states had new infections with Lagos having the highest number, 131, followed by Ogun State.
