#NIGERIA DECIDES2023: Ayo Adebanjo hails Peter Obi’s victory in Lagos, says ‘it’s a miracle’

Pa Ayo Adebanjo, the leader of the pan Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, has described as a miracle the triumph of Peter Obi, Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, over Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of All Progressives Congress (APC).

Adebanjo noted: “Obi’s victory in Lagos in the presidential election is the wish of the people. Tinubu has always won in Lagos by thuggery, bribery and corruption. But the youths are awake now.

“That’s why they are attacking the Igbo so as to make it look like it is a Yoruba affair.

“Although it is a miracle for us to win in Lagos with all the violence because all the Obas are campaigning against us.

“The message all over the country is that the youths are now awake to take back their country”
