New Coronavirus case ‘clinically stable,’ says Minister

The Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire, has said the second confirmed case of Coronavirus, who was confirmed Monday morning, is clinically stable and is currently being monitored in isolation.

Osagie gave the clarification while announcing the confirmation of the second person to be tested positive for Coronavirus in Nigeria. He said 40 persons, who had contact with the first confirmed case, an Italian, are presently in isolation and being monitored.

“Today, there are two confirmed cases.The new case is an Ogun State contact of the index case, one of 40 persons in isolation being closely monitored. He is clinically stable, ” the Minister said.
