Nasarawa AP chair wants Gov. Sule to pay attention to Lafia township roads

Mr. Labaran Maina, Chairman, Nasarawa State chapter of Accord Party, has advised Governor Abdullahi Sule to pay special attention to rehabilitating roads in Lafia, the state capital.

Maina, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), on Wednesday in Lafia, suggested four major roads, which he said were critical to the town and deserved special consideration.

He listed the roads to include Al-Makura, Abuja, Makabarta and Angwan-Tivi, all around the Government House area.

“Given the closeness of the roads to the Government House, it is not good to leave them in their dilapidated state,” he said.

Maina urged Sule to use his rich experience in the private sector to raise the people’s living standard and surpass the achievements of his predecessors.

He, however, commended the immediate past administration for the massive construction of roads in Lafia, saying that the capital city had been  been transformed into a modern state capital. (NAN)
