Lt. Gen. Kenneth Minimah (rtd), a former Chief of Army Staff, COAS, has commended Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State for successfully holding the local government elections in the state.
Minimah in a statement described the process as a major milestone for the state and Fubara’s “Rivers State First” agenda.
While congratulating the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, RSIEC, political parties, and all candidates for the peaceful conduct of the elections, the General advised Fubara to remain focused on advancing the state’s development.
He charged the newly elected officials to make the welfare of the people a priority, adding that residents of the state should continue supporting the governor for the overall progress of the state.
