LWC promises to restore water supply soon

 The Lagos Water Corporation (LWC) has apologised to residents for the inconveniences, particularly those affected by the current disruption of water supply in the state.

Mr Muminu Badmus, the Managing Director of the Corporation apologised in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Thursday.

Badmus attributed the current water disruption to technical problem at the Water Corporation Adiyan intake raw water pump at Akute station.

He gave residents an assurance that efforts were ongoing to restore portable water supply soon, saying that the corporation would not toy with the emotion of Lagos residents.

“Our team of Engineers are presently working assiduously to restore water supply soon, as the repair is almost at the concluding stage.

”We are undoubtedly committed to supply portable water to every home in the state, as this is the pact we have signed with Lagosians”, he said.

Badmus, however, apologised for the inconveniences caused at this period, while thanking residents for their patience, understanding and continuous cooperation. (NAN).
