Wreckage of the burnt truck laden with several bundles/packs of cardboard papers and other combustible materials, has been recovered by the LASEMA Response Team off the road on Third Mainland Bridge to set it free for rush hour traffic.
Reports have it that wreckage of the burnt truck with registration number XN 561 AKD, resulting from the lone incident of burning truck on the bridge that has now been put out, was recovered very close to the Adeniji Adele junction inward Obalende.

According to reports on the incident where no lives were lost and no injuries were recorded, preliminary investigations places strong suspicions on electrical sparks emanating from the engine as probable cause of the fire which burnt the truck.
Though driver of the burnt truck could not be found at the scene of the incident to further explain how the incident started and escalated to uncontrollable level.
