“The Babajide Sanwo-Olu’ administration is concerned about educating our pupil and the environment in which they learn must be conducive. This is one of the reasons we have come to go round to see for ourselves the condition in which they are learning.  We are choosing schools that are in bad shape. Our children are going to be on holidays so we want to see what we can do to repair the classrooms before they resume. If you are in a house and your windows, doors and chairs are not in good shape, you will not be comfortable. Our children should be protected from the weather. We have noticed the doors and windows are bad. These are some of the issues we will address so our students can be comfortable.  We need to repair all the classrooms,” he said.

On the high number of population of pupils in government schools and classrooms, the Deputy Governor promised the government would sure standards are followed, adding ” we will make sure there will be a standard.”

“There are standards that must be met and if those standards are not met, we will take action,” he said.
