Lagos confirmed Coronavirus cases rise to 1,242

The Lagos State Government, on Wednesday, announced that the number of  COVID-19 cases in the state has risen to 1, 242.

 According to Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, who confirmed this via his Twitter handle, the state, on Tuesday, recorded 43 new Coronavirus cases.

Abayomi tweeted: “The total number of confirmed COVID19 cases in Lagos is now 1, 242.”

He also announced the recovery and discharge of 60 Covic-19 patients, comprising 40 males and 20 females.

“This brings the total number of #COVID19 discharged patients in Lagos to 321,” the commissioner said.
