Kogi governorship: Like Buhari, I will fight corruption in Kogi -Lulu, former NFF boss

Former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president Alhaji Sanni Lulu has assured he would give sports good attention if he lands in Kogi government house as governor later this year.
Lulu in a heart to heart chat with the media via the FCT football update WhatsApp group said he is eminently qualified to lead Kogi as the next governor.
The experienced educationalist who owns a successful soccer college FOLSA has contributed several players to the age grade national teams and he is also making sure that players combine football with education.
” My successful experience in service particularly as the NFF president and several grass roots developmental programmes initiated and executed has endeared me to Kogites which is a clear advantage over every other contestant. I am not thinking of losing. President Buhari is my role model and I will fight corruption in Kogi, just as he is doing at the Centre.”
Continuing, Lulu stated: “With my background as a public servant, President of NFF, my number one goal would be to cater for civil servants.”
It would be noted that Lulu has continuously given scholarships in FOLSA to talented footballers both male and female.
His Academy is the only football secondary school that has signed a working memorandum of understanding with a University in Nigeria. The students/players further their education via scholarship still playing football.
In his time as the president of the NFF he not only ensured that the soccer federation was debt free but left a whooping N700m in the coffers of the soccer federation.
