JUST IN: Supreme Court adjourns to March 3 suit to review judgment on Imo gov’ship tussle

The Supreme Court adjourns to March 3, 2020, for hearing on the application filed by Emeka Ihedioha urging the court to set aside its judgment delivered on the 14th of January 2020, which nullified his election as Governor of Imo State.

Counsel to Mr. Ihedioha, Kanu Agabi SAN, informed the court that he was served with the reply from the Respondents in court, on  Monday, and that he would need time to go through it. The legal luminary thus prayed the court for an adjournment to address the issue raised in the reply.

Counsel to Governor Hope Uzodinma, Damien Dodo, confirmed that they served the Applicants Monday as claimed by Agabi because they were served with the applicant processes, last Friday.
