JUST IN: Soyinka, Shehu Sani storm Abuja High Court for Sowore’s trial

Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka and former senator Shehu Sani were among notable Nigerians that had arrived the Federal High Court, Abuja, in solidarity with human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, who is standing trial for cyberstalking.

Prof. Soyinka arrived Court 7 at 8:40a.m. to witness the proceeding before Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu.

Some of the supporters of the activist were also in court.

The atmosphere in the court premises was peaceful as there was no presence of Department of State Services (DSS) operatives.
