JUST IN: Ogun APC presidential rally ends in chaos

The presidential campaign of the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign rally in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Monday, was marred with violence as suspected supporters of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) in the state visibly expressed their anger.

The rally was hurriedly concluded as supporters believed to be loyal to the APM booed and jarred at former Governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola and national chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo tried, albeit unsuccessfully, to calm the enraged APM supporters who prevented even President Muhammadu Buhari to fully address them.

In the meantime, President Buhari, during his short speech, urged the electorate in the state to vote for the party of their choice.
