It was gathered that Governor Obaseki and Imasuagbon, had met in the early hours of Thursday, at the Government House, in Benin-City  behind closed doors.

Efforts to speak with Imasuagbon failed as his mobile line was not connecting.

In view of this development, the Edo State PDP’s governorship primary becomes a mere formality as Governor Obaseki remains unopposed.
