JUST IN: Ekweremadu nominated for dep. Senate President, urged colleagues to vote against Maze snatchers

Former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, representing Enugu West Senatorial District has also been nominated for the Office of the Senate President.

While soliciting for votes from his colleagues, the senator-elect urged them to remember the assault on the hallowed chamber sometime ago where the maze, which is symbol of authority of the Red Chamber was carted away by people believed to have been sponsored by his challenger for the seat of the Office of the Deputy Senate President, senator-elect Omo-Agege.
