Governors elected under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) may have further reduced the numbers of the presidential aspirants that will be contest in the party primaries today at the Eagles Square, in Abuja.
The governors had earlier reportedly pruned the list to five namely; Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, National leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Minister of Transport, Hon. Rotimi Amaechi.

But report reaching The Nigerian Xpress now indicates that Governor Dave Umahi and Kayode Fayemi have been removed from the list leaving in the race three of the aspirants.
