It appears that the expected passage of the 2020 budget by the Senate this week is no longer feasible, it has been gathered.
Chairman, Senate Committee on Appropriation, Sen. Barau Jibrin, told the Senate, on Tuesday, that the report was not ready.
He asked the Upper Chamber for one more week to enable the committee to complete the report and lay it, on Tuesday, December 3, alongside the details.

Senate President Ahmad Lawan approved the request and said that the report of the budget must be laid “unfailingly” by the committee next Tuesday so that the Senate can consider and pass it next week.
