Jigawa dep. gov. wins Senatoral seat

Deputy governor of Jigawa State,  Barr. Ibrahim Hassan, has won the North East senatorial seat after defeating serving senator Ubali Shitu.
The returning officer, Prof. Ahmad Garko announced the result on Monday morning in Dutse the state capital.
Hedejia, who contested the poll on the platform of the APC was declared the winner after Polling a total of 184,185 votes to defeat his closest contender and candidate of the PDP senator Ubali Shitu who polled 103,039 votes.
Also declared was the North West senatorial seat that was won by Danladi Sankara of the APC after Polling 286,655 votes while Nasiru Umar Roni of the PDP that polls 110,314 votes.
House of representatives from Jahun/Miga Sa’idu Miga (APC) who won b‎y polling 55,241 votes to defeat Dr. Tafida Abubakar of (PDP) that polled 28,707 votes.
Ibrahim Kamfani of APC won the Hadejia/Auyo/Kafin Hausa federal constituency seat with 70,388 votes while Jibrin Babangida of PDP poll 34,143 votes.
‎Nazifi Sani of the APC won the Gagarawa/Gumel/Maigatari/Suletankarkarfederla constituency after Polling 75,975 to defeat Nasiru Muhammad Roni of PDP that scored 38,881 votes.
In Kirikasanma/Guri/ Birniwa federal constituency Abubakar Fulata of APC polled 63,884 to defeat AbbaDaguro that scored 25,447 votes.
