Traditional ruler of Egbere-Emere Kingdom in Rivers State, His Royal Highness Amb. (Dr.) Appolus Chu, has proffered solution to the lingering security challenges in the country.

The monarch, while speaking, on Thursday, in Lagos State, at an event organised by the National Council of Women Societies (NCWS), said Nigerian women have the antidote to insecurity in Nigeria.

Said he, “There can’t be community policing without women. Women have great instinct; they are conversant of their environment and community police can only achieve great result if women are involved,” the monarch said.

He, however, called on traditional rulers across the country to work against insecurity that is distracting Nigeria by incorporating women into community policing.

The monarch, while making case for Nigerian women, explained that women were major stakeholders in the country, hence there should be more female representative in governance.
