The Imo State House of Assembly has elected a new Speaker.
He is Hon. Lawrence Duruji, representing Ehime Mbano State Constituency.
He emerged as the new Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, scoring 14 votes to defeat his closest rival , Hon. chinedu Offor, representing Onuimo who polled 10 votes.
