I’m happy Nigerians re-elected incorruptible person to continue clearing the ‘mess’ – University Librarian

Bauchi State University Librarian, Mr. Ali Yakubu, on Wednesday expressed delight that Nigerians re-elected an “incorruptible” person (President Buhari) to continue the good work of clearing the ‘mess’.

“Today, it was declared that President Muhammadu Buhari has won the 2019 election, with over 15 million votes.

“I am very happy that Nigerians found it fit to re-elect an incorruptible man as the president for the next four years; it shows we are ready and going to the next level.

“Government is a continuum; we are very sure that he will continue what he has started , and will also make sure that all other works he had been doing,  are completed,” said the Librarian.

Speaking on the credibility of the election, Yakubu said most of the observers, both domestic and foreign, had testified that it was free, fair and credible.

Also speaking with NAN, a Bauchi state resident, Mr. Adetoye Olubunmi, said he had expected President Buhari to have a ‘smooth ride’ over his opponents.

“I am very happy and this is what I have been expecting, because, for the past four years, we have seen development projects in all the six geopolitical zones in the country.

“These projects were carried out despite the fact that the government did not have much money.

“Now we are giving him this opportunity because we know he will do better than before; I am very happy that he won the election,” Olubunmi said. (NAN)
