National leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has boasted that he would win the nomination of his party to fly its flag for the 2923 presidential election.
Tinubu, spoke in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital, on Sunday.
He believed ge is well placed to win the party’s ticket ahead of other aspirants.
Speaking with newsmen after a consultative meeting with party stakeholders and delegates in the state, Asiwaju Tinubu said his chances of emerging as the eventual APC candidate for 2023 are very high.

Said he, “My chances of winning the ticket are incredibly high and I am very confident. I am sure I can and I will win it,” he said.
The APC chieftain added that he preferred that every aspirant test their popularity at the polls than for the party to opt for a consensus candidate in choosing its flagbearer.
He continued, “I want democracy, I am voting for democracy, One man, one vote,” he said. A statement made available, on Sunday, by his media office added that Asiwaju Tinubu urged party members in the state to embrace peace and unity so the APC can record a resounding victory across board in the state.
He was further quoted as saying, “You must resolve your differences and put your house in order. We will work with you on this. One important thing you need is unity of purpose.”
