The President, Executive Council and Board of Trustees of Ikpomaza Old Students Association, Edo State officially announce the passing of Mr. George Onekhena at the age of 65. Mr. Onekhena was the Chief Executive Officer, Crown Height Consulting Services, based in Mooresville, North Carolina, United States.
A Certified and Chartered Accountant of repute and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants,
Onekhena had travelled around the globe starting in his serene village – Okphekphe, Auchi Sacred Kingdom where he lived most of his life. He moved to Benin City, Kaduna, Kano, Lagos, Abuja and cities around the world.
A first class brain, Onekhena came top of his class at Ikpomaza Grammar School, Okpella, University of Benin, Benin City where he read Business Administration with bias for Insurance and obtained a Second Class degree in 1978. He broke many records in his professional examinations.

His career trajectory transverse was Chief Executive Officer, Crown Height Consulting Services, 2019; Deputy Commissioner, National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), Abuja;

GeorgeAndrews and Executive Director, Finance, Lion of Africa Insurance Company Limited.
Mr. Onekhena was indisputably a workaholic and social networker.
