Okezie Ikpeazu, Abia state governor, has named Cindy Okafor, a former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, as an ambassador of made-in-Aba project aimed at promoting indigenous goods and services in the state.

The reality star took to her social media page on Tuesday to break the good news to her fans.

She also shared a picture of herself posing with John Okeiyi Kalu, the state commissioner for information and Chris Ezem, secretary to the state.

“Thank you Abia State Government for bringing me into this light. Thanks to the honourable commissioner for information John Okeiyi Kalu And the Secretary to the State, Barr. Chris Ezem for the warm reception.”

The former BBNaija housemate was evicted from the ‘Pepper Dem’ house on September 27, after polling the lowest votes in the 13th week. She was recently in the news for allegedly breaching agreement with an online fashion dealer.

Her appointment comes about two weeks after Azubuike Egwu, Nollywood actor and movie producer better known as Zubby Michael, was appointed as a special advisor on media to Willie Obiano, governor of Anambra.
