National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Saturday paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-olu to sympathise with him on the unfortunate incidents that happened in the state in the last one week.

Tinubu while fielding questions from newsmen at the Lagos House Marina, debunked the rumours that he flew out of the country during the crisis and blamed circulation of fake news for the many disasters in the state.

Tinubu also debunked the rumours that his son Seyi Tinubu was kidnapped in London as the son was also present at the Lagos House in Marina.

He noted that as the Asiwaju of Lagos, he has nowhere to seek solace but to stand firm with his people during any crisis.

The APC national leader who condemned the shooting at Lekki toll gate, berated the youths for not obeying the curfew order of the state government and maintained that those who sustained gunshots should be questioned.

Tinubu appealed to the youths to give peace a chance and desist from vandalising private and public infrastructure across the state, stressing that it is the products of taxes they are destroying.
