A 64-year-old man is in trouble and now telling the police all he knows about the death of a woman whose corpse he was caught ferrying to an unknown place in s wheelbarrow, in Imo State.

The suspect, who was identified as Chief Barnabas Ogbujidikahuya Osuigwe, was caught in the dead of the night in Ejemekwuru autonomous community in Oguta LGA of the state with the corpse of the woman, who allegedly died while they were making love.
According to sources, Osuigwe, alias Summer, from Nzurum, Umuagwu, Ejemekwuru, was reportedly caught by Vigilante group with the remains of the victim, identified as Madam Berna.
It was gathered that while Osuigwe is married to a woman from Ogbuke Ogbaku in Mbaitoli LGA with whom he has five children, his late lover was a divorcee, who hailed from Umuakum Ejemkwuru and had no child.
Although Chief Barnabas is reportedly in police custody, the late Madam Berna’s remains have been deposited in the mortuary while both families are negotiating a way out, possibly for Osuigwe to customarily marry the deceased and bear the cost of her burial.
