Health benefits of eating walnuts

Joy Anyim

Nuts are very healthy. That is why medical experts advise people to snack on nuts instead of junks.

One nut that stands out in terms of nutritional value, availability and cost friendliness is walnut.

Walnuts are round, single-seeded stone fruits that grow from the walnut tree. They are a good source of healthful fats, protein and fibre.

Though it does not have a sweet taste and nor is it sour,  you can never go wrong with walnut, as it contains most of the nutrients the body needs to function well.
