The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State on Security, AIG Christopher Dega (rtd), has been assassinated.
Dega was, in Jos, Plateau State Capital, on Tuesday.
It was gathered that the deceased was shot in the chest several times by gunmen on Tuesday.
