The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, is gripped with grief and confusion, following the mysterious death of a female corps member in an Abuja hotel room.
The lady, who was identified as Amaka Asikaogu, has a few more days left to completing the mandatory one-year service.
Sadly, she died mysteriously after going to the hotel with an unknown male companion.

It was gathered that the duo checked into New England Hotel in Abuja Saturday evening. The man reportedly left soon after they were served the food and drinks they had ordered.
The hotel staff had asked him about the lady he came with but he assured them that she was in the room and all right.
Nevertheless, the workers had placed a call to the room to confirm that Amaka was truly fine. She was said to have answered the call and confirmed that she was fine and alone in the room.
However, when she was not seen when it was time to checkout the following day, worried management of the hotel had to force their way to the room and found Amaka’s lifeless body in the room.
