A 23-year-old lady, Eniola Shittu, has conspired with her 31-year old lover, David Peremobowe, to rape her close friend and recorded the act on video.
The incident, it was learnt, happened at Somorin Area of Obantoko, Abeokuta, in Ogun State.
The suspects were arrested following a report lodged by the survivor (name withheld), at Obantoko Division of the Ogun State Police Command.
According to the survivor, she was at home on July 24, at about 1:45pm, when her friend, Eniola Shittu, sent message via WhatsApp that she should help her buy food and skushis.
She said Shuttu had also asked her to bring same to her boyfriend’s house at Somorin area of Obantoko, in Abeokuta.

On getting there, she said Shittu’s boyfriend, Peremobowe, offered her a bottle of beer which, unknown to her, was drugged, and she took it. She was subsequently raped several times by Peremobowe.
According to the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Abimbola Oyeyemi, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, the suspects were arrested on the strength of the complaint of the survivor.
Oyeyemi said, “The DPO Obantoko Division, SP Olasunkanmi Popoola, detailed his detectives to Peremobowe’s house, where he and his lover were promptly arrested.
“Investigation revealed that immediately the survivor finished the beer, she became very weak and Peremobowe who had planned with his lover had unlawfully carnal knowledge of the lady and while he was doing it, Shittu used her phone to do the video recording of how her friend was being raped.
“The Gionee handset with which the video coverage was made was also recovered.”
It was learnt that the Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Bashir Makama, has ordered the transfer of the suspects to Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the State Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), for further investigation and possible prosecution.
