Find a legitimate ‘hustle’, don’t do crime, Actor Yul Edochie tells youths

Mr. Chibuike Edochie, popularly known as Yul Edochie, a Nollywood star, has called on youths to resist every form of crime, saying that there is no excuse for crime.

The 37-year-old son of Pete Edochie, gave this timely advise via a post he shared on his Twitter handle @yulEdochie on Friday, saying a legitimate business no matter how small is better than crime.

He wrote: “youths please do not do crime, find a legitimate business”. According to him, the youth should stick to legitimate businesses, no matter how small it is.

“However, small it is, stick to it. He added that there was no excuse for crime. He also stated that youths do not have to go into crime because they are broke. Meanwhile, the prolific actor has  become popular lately for tweets and Instagram posts built around social and political issues in the country. He also recently advised that people should learn to appreciate one another while still alive .

“People should learn to appreciate others when they are alive, spending lavishly on burial ceremonies is a waste,” he said. The politician and father of three is not only popular for his roles in movies but also in national TV series, including Tinsel.

He has to his credit different awards like, Best Actor of the Year Award from City People Entertainment and Pamsaa in 2013. He has also won City People Entertainment Awards for Best New Actor of the year in 2009, among others. (NAN)
