Eyiboh, ex-Rep. spokesman seeks return to NASS

One time spokesperson of the House of Representatives in 6th National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Eseme Eyiboh has joined race to return to the Lower Legislative Chambers to represent Eket/Onna/Esit Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency of Akwa-Ibom State next year.

Eyiboh, who was also former Speaker of the West Africa Institute of Financial and Economic Management (WAIFEM), a regional forum for legislators, will contest under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for the seat.

Recall that the experienced former Federal Lawmaker was also the Dean of an intellectual group in the House of Representatives-The Faculty Board of the INITIATIVES, which provided a platform for public policy dialogue and constructive legislative engagements, a body that made the 6th House of Representatives uniquely different and special.

The Akwa Ibom State-born white-haired, popularly known as legislative brain box, was also once the Chairman of the board of the Cross River Basin Development Authority (CRBDA), is to say the least, a veritable legislative asset, not only to his constituency, but the House of Representatives in particular and the National Assembly in general.

With the above stated credentials, if elected eventually, he will be returning to the House of Representatives with a repertoire of legislative experience, acumen and an unequalled mind power and unrivalled legislative encyclopaedia.
