Deputy Governor, Enugu State, Barr. (Mrs.) Cecillia Ezeilo, has emerged the Grand Matron, Nigeria Para Powerlifting Federation.
The event, held at Oriental Hotel, Lagos State recently, also saw the Lagos State Governor-elect, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, emerging as the Grand Patron of the group.

Some of the dignitaries, who graced the event were, Hon. Joe Udedi, Hon. (Mrs.) Mabel Agbo, Enugu State PDP Chairman, Hon. Augustine Nnamani, Leader, Enugu State House of Assembly, Ikechukwu Ezeugwu, Mrs. Queen Ubo, President, Nigeria para Powerlifting Federation, and many others. Mrs. Ubo described the awardees as people, who has distinguished themselves in service to humanity.
She said the honour was in recognition of their outstanding performance in their respective fields. The event also saw two Paralympic Champions, Mr. Paul Kehinde and Mrs. Lucy Ejike signed as Brand Ambassadors of Citi Bank of Nigeria.
